A little bit about me:
Hello! I'm Lori and I am so thankful for the opportunity to be your travel advisor! I have over twenty years of experience in the travel industry and I've been a Cruise Planners Travel Advisor since 2017. Travel isn't just something I sell to help support my family - Travel is my passion! My husband and I personally go on at least 4-5 trips each year to invest in our personal experience and learn as much as possible about the best destinations, ships, resorts, and more. My knowledge and expertise allows me to provide my clients with the best vacation options (and steer them away from bad ones!) along with offering savings and support for a stress-free vacation planning experience.
How travel advisors get paid:
Almost every type of vacation has a commission built into the price. That commission is paid to your travel advisor AFTER you travel. If you decide not to book through a travel advisor and instead book direct or with an online third-party travel vendor, the company you book with receives that extra payment and you do NOT receive any of the expert advice and support that you are already paying for.
As a Cruise Planners Travel Advisor, I do not receive any compensation from Cruise Planners. As a matter of fact, I pay them monthly and yearly fees to be a part of their highly reputable franchise and maintain access to their exclusive prices and promotions, which I gladly share with my clients.
I am compensated with a commission from the travel supplier only when my clients book through me and not until they have completed their trip. This is my livelihood - I truly depend on my clients loyalty and strive to provide them with the best support for all of their adventures!
My Travel Research / Planning Fee:
I have a NON-REFUNDABLE Travel Research / Planning Fee of $50 - $250 per booking/room, based on type of travel.
My years of travel experience and knowledge along with my exclusive prices and promotions make me a valuable asset to your travel planning process!
Prior to implementing my fee, I unfortunately had situations where I spent a lot of time sharing my expertise and putting together quotes only to have the potential client take the advice and information that I shared and book elsewhere or not at all. In these situations, I was paid nothing. I realized that I needed to do something different so I began requesting this fee upfront to ensure that my time was being prioritized for serious and loyal clients.
My primary goal is to provide the best possible savings, knowledge, and support to my valuable clients!
How I help my clients save money (and keep planning stress-free!):
As a Cruise Planners Travel Advisor, I have access to exclusive prices and promotions that you won't find anywhere else!
Cruises
On many occasions I have access to special unadvertised prices and promotions with cruise lines which allows me to help my clients save hundreds (or sometimes even thousands) of dollars on their cruise vacations.
Flexibility and early planning are KEY. If you contact me at least six months prior to your vacation and you are somewhat flexible with dates, there is a very great possibility that I will be able to find a cruise with significant savings for you.
I do a little happy dance every time I send my clients a quote and show them how much they are saving by booking with me!
Also, my system will monitor your cruise booking and alert me if a better price becomes available up until your final payment due date. If this happens, I will get your price adjusted and send you an updated confirmation. No worries about trying to keep track of this yourself or missing out on a better price. I’ve got you covered!
Resorts
For resort packages, I only recommend the most reputable 4-5 star properties and my quotes include: the resort stay, roundtrip flights (non-stop when available), transportation between airport and resort (or rental car), and travel insurance. Packaging these elements together with my trusted travel partners provides my clients with significant savings versus piecing everything together on your own.
Bucket List Destinations
I also love helping with completely customized, detail-intensive trips that would most likely be overwhelming to plan by yourself. I have experience with Hawaiian island-hopping trips, Australia and New Zealand adventures, Alaska land and sea packages, and European/Mediterranean trips, just to name a few. Your Bucket List trip should be an exciting and stress-free experience, and that includes the planning stage!
